Biscuit & Yarn is a site of Steady Compass Goods. When you buy, you buy from Steady Compass Goods, which runs the checkout on Shopify and takes the payment. The terms of sale and refund policy shown at that checkout apply to your order.
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any sales tax due are shown at checkout before you pay.
Made to order
Every piece is made after you order it. Where a piece is personalized, the preview on the product page is the file we print, so the moment to catch a mistake is before you pay.
Colors on a screen can look a little different in print, and the photos on product pages are samples with your design shown where it prints.
The names and words you enter
You confirm you have the right to use what you type. We may decline to print a name or word that our filter refuses, such as a trademark or something offensive. If we decline an order, you are refunded in full.
Returns and replacements
A damaged, faulty or lost piece is made again or refunded; a made-to-order piece is not taken back for a change of mind. The returns page has every case.
Our tools and pages
The calculators give estimates from published charts, and the name rankings come from public license records. They are for interest and planning. They are not veterinary advice; for anything about your pet's health, ask your vet.
The lost pet poster and the found pet flyer help you share the word. Whether a pet comes home depends on many things, and we cannot promise it.
Our designs
The designs, art, lettering and words on this site are ours. You may print what you make with our free tools for your own use. Please do not copy our designs to sell or share as your own.
Limits
We make the site and our pieces with care, and we put things right when they go wrong, as the returns page says. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site.
